As the Council and Parliament discuss proposals, ECVC invites policymakers, the press, farmers, and civil society to a webinar presenting our recommendations on the European Commission's plans for the future Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), EU budget, and Common Market Organisation (CMO).
The current proposals lack the ambition required to address the multiple crises affecting agriculture and food systems. Given climate disruption, geopolitical instability, rising inequalities, and a worsening generational crisis in farming, stronger and fairer public policies are essential to support both existing and new farmers.
ECVC representatives will briefly present the recommendations, followed by an interactive discussion with participants.
