The Green Deal is an ambitious set of measures which aims to enable Europe to make the transition to a sustainable economy and to become the first climate-neutral continent in the world by 2050. These measures are accompanied by an initial roadmap of key policies ranging from ambitious emission reductions to investment in cutting-edge research and innovation, and the preservation of Europe's natural environment. These legislative and non-legislative measures will be published throughout 2020 and 2021. One of these key policies is the “Farm to Fork” (F2F) strategy, for “a fair, healthy and environmentally friendly food system”. It seems that the EC will publish the F2F strategy at the end of March 2020, preceded by an online consultation.
