Response to EU Consultation on Trade and Investment Policy

We think that the EU must carry out a comprehensive analysis of the negative impacts of European trade policy, given its objectives, before negotiating more free trade agreements with a tendency to think only of the positive effects. Trade policy must be seriously reformed and the negative impacts, for example, on small and medium-sized farmers, on food trends, on precarious work and on the effects on climate change must be addressed and dealt with.
