The ECVC migrant working group stands in solidarity with workers of EUROSOL and denounces the dismissals, sanctions and disciplinary measures that are being taken against the employees. The company is blatantly violating the rights of agricultural workers, both in legal terms and according to the UN Declaration of the Rights of Peasants and other people working in rural areas. Examples of these violations include refusing to allow employees to take their 20-minute break in the morning, refusing to pay overtime, failure to provide a working schedule, serious failures in terms of health and safety.   ECVC member  SOC-SAT calls on its allies to stop and denounce union repression and harassment of EUROSOL group workers. It also calls on European consumers deceived by the GRASP/GAP global social responsibility certifications to mobilise to denounce ethical washing within the company.   You can read the full press release of SOC-SAT here in French and here in Spanish. .
